Alluvial Gold Specimen with a complex history.  Was mined at the Edie Creek Mine, Papua New Guinea, in the 1920s, and lost in the sea near Lea due to a plane crash. The Gold was recovered in 1922. Was eventually marketed in 2024 after being held by attorneys in a court case.

Lovely, crystalline Gold in white Quartz from the famous 16 to 1 Mine.  The piece has been cut with a diamond saw.   The Gold exhibits brilliant luster, and a rich, buttery-yellow color.  The Gold occurs as well distributed, irregular, spider web-like patterns in the vein material. These slabs are used by many jewelers to make "picture rock" jewelry pieces. Total weight is 15.7 Grams.

A unique crystallized Gold specimen! Complex, coliform-like Gold crystal development on white bull Quartz. Gold exhibits soft luster, and a greenish tint. Moderate crystal development with occasional octahedron terminations. Quite unusual. Weighs 27.8 Grams
