Small, but beautiful crystalline arborescent Gold. Gold occurs in a 4mm. Quartz veinlett. Exhibits brilliant luster, orangish-yellow color. Comes from an obscure location. Found using a Goldbug2 metal detector.
A curious Gold specimen from the Michigan Bluff Mining District, in Placer Co. California. The piece shows buttery-yellow, crystallized, metallic native gold. The Gold forms mirror-like, thick, flattened octahedrons that show arborecent leaf development. Trace Quartz matrix remains.
