Lovely dendritic Gold, with the leaf crystallizing into individual branching stalks that are capped by weakly developed octahedrons on the terminations.  Brite luster, nice color. Very scarce specimen. Found within an obscure, old, historic, Nevada Gold camp.

Crystallized Gold in low temperature Quartz. This is a good example of a Paleo-hot springs type of Gold specimen. Gold occurs as a myriad of tiny wires, and dendrites, in a strong  argilically altered quartz setting. This piece comes from an obscure location. A Specific Gravity determination indicates 2.62 Grams contained Gold. A wonder under magnification!!

Pacific Island Gold!!

Alluvial Gold Specimen with a complex history.  Was mined at the Edie Creek Mine, Papua New Guinea, in the 1920s, and lost in the sea near Lea due to a plane crash. The Gold was recovered in 1922. Was eventually marketed in 2024 after being held by attorneys in a court case.
