I recently blundered into a unique opportunity: authentic antique Pumpkinseed whisky flasks. These date from the mid 1880s to around 1910. They were found in Austin, Nevada. They are starting to turn purple and will turn deeper if left in direct sunshine. They turn purple because in the day, glass makers added Potassium Permanganate to the melt to scavenge iron and clarify the glass. Ultra Violate sun rays turn the glass purple over time and exposure. These are in wonderful condition, no dings or scratches, only some faint ground hazing and some rainbow pearlized irridescence on some. I am offering these for $15.00 plus $5.00 shipping.
