A nice crystalline Gold specimen from the Angels Camp mining district.  Honey-yellow colored, brightly lustered Gold hosted in white Quartz. Piece found at an old 1849 vintage Californian Gold mine. Nice robust and sound specimen.  These specimens are very difficult to obtain as these mines have been closed before the 1940s.

A splendid, small, crystalline Gold specimen from the Washington Mine in the French Gulch Mining District.  Arborescent Gold shows brilliant luster and a pale lemony yellow color. White Quartz matrix.  Nice presentation!

MOTHER LODE--CALIFORNIA GOLD!!!     A spendid, small Gold leaf specimen from Harvard Mine in the Jamestown mining district. A beautiful specimen of Californian Gold. Deep, buttery-yellow colored, brilliant lustered, leaf Gold hosted in white Quartz.  Found at an old 1849 vintage Californian Gold mine.  These specimens are very difficult to obtain as the mine has been closed, and flooded for over 75 years.

This partially crystallized nugget shows bright luster and a rich yellow color.  Partial cubes are shown.  Approx. 25% Quartz matrix remains.  Found using a Goldbug2 metal detector in the Central Mining District placers.

A Unique nugget from the Eugene Mtns. Shows strong crystallized Gold character, with nice cubic crystal growth.  shows very bright luster, and brassy-yellow color.  Found using a Goldbug2 metal detector.  Weighs .16 oz.

This is a curious specimen of leaf Gold from the McQuesten placer area, Yukon Territories, Canada.   This curious piece shows brilliant luster, strong water wear, as well as a complex shape.     Weighs .14 ounce.

NATIVE SILVER!!!!!     Crystalline Silver Slab specimen from the historic, Cobalt, Ontario, Canadian mines. Specimen exhibits bright silver metallic luster. Dolomite is the matrix.

This specimen comes from an old 1900s mine dump.  Massive Native Silver was discovered  in veins in Pre-Cambrian Greenstones in Cobalt Ontario in 1903 and hundreds of mines were eventually exploiting the metal. By the 1920s the mines were essentially exhausted. Some minor mining occurred later.  Over 600 million ounces were produced from this area. Today only a few countries have historically produced Native Silver and its very difficult to obtain today.

Found in the Bouisma mine, Morocco, Africa.
