A small specimen of disseminated Gold leaf in weakly Amesthestine radiating Quartz. Gold occurs as sparkling..brilliantly lustered leaves, blebs, blades in  crystallized Quartz vein material that shows a weak, but distinct, purplish Amethest color. A specific gravity determination indicates 21.3 grains of contained Gold. Found using a Goldbug2 metal detector in the Krum Hills. Treated with Mineral Oil to show contrast with Gold and matrix. If it interferes with your asthetics simply  remove by a soak in rubbing alchohol.
