A MONSTER!!  A large Gold nugget found in the East Range using a Goldbug2 metal detector. Gold shows a nice soft glowing luster, and exhibits an orangish tint. Contains about 10%  Quartz matrix. A specific gravity determination indicates 152.5 Grams of contained Gold. Pretty rare nugget-- not many found like this one anymore.  Housed in a 2" X 2" perky box.    Total weight is  5.77 ounces.

A MINI- MONSTER!! 2.88 ounces of lovely Californian Gold. Gold shows lots of water-worn character, has wonderful vibrant luster and a definite orangish-yellow color. Contains a very few % of original Quartz matrix. A true JOY to behold...and to hold!! A true investment piece.

MONSTER!!!! Here is a large nugget from the East Range placer, almost one and a half ounces. Gold exhibits wonderful gleaming luster, and has a orangish-Yellow hue. Has a few % white Quartz matrix remaining, which adds to the contrast. Sound and hefty! Weighs 1.48 Ounces.

Big Boy!!!! Here is an elegant nugget weighing .72 ounce from the Dun Glen placer fields. Has about 25%, by volume, Quartz matrix. Gold exhibits a nice brite, lively luster, and a buttery-yellow color. A sound and robust nugget!!

A .62 ounce chunk of Gorgeous Nugget Gold.  Hefty, solid, and has a nice knobby texture. Nice vibrant luster and an orangish-yellow color. Rare trace Quartz matrix remains.

A large one half, plus, ounce nugget from the East Range placer. This piece had quite a bit of Quartz matrix attached. Probably 20% by volume, Quartz remains on bottom side. Interesting texture and shape. Gold shows very brite luster and an orangish-yellow color. Weighs .596 ounce.

A semi-crystallized nugget from the Dun Glen placer fields. Exhibits an interesting texture probably due to Quartz crystal imprints, now gone. Lovely gleaming luster and shows a distinct orangish hue. Weighs .42 ounce. Found using a Mine Lab metal detector.

A unique nugget from the Willow Creek placers. Shows crystal development benieth a Quartz Matrix...with tiny dendritic developments that have tiny octohedron terminations.  When viewed on edge these appear as blades. Minor trace Quartz matrix remains for contrast. Weighs .37 ounce

A lovely crystalline gold nugget from the East Range placer fields. Gold is complexly composed of wire, leaf, and intricately interconnected blades and mossy forms.  Exhibits brilliant luster and a distinctly orangish hue. Was found as an alluvial "nugget" and much of the Quartz matrix has been removed to show the beauty of the Gold.  A few % Quartz matrix remains to add contrast.  Weighs .22 ounce.

A fragment of a vein with crystalline Gold!! How cool!!! Found as an alluvial "nugget" in the East Range placer. Brillianly lustered Gold is hosted in a somewhat vuggy Quartz matrix. A nice deep yellow color shines through. Gold is visible on both ends and should be continuous.
